Tyler, Texas is located in the piney woods of East Texas on Interstate 20 between Dallas and Shreveport, LA. Known as the Rose Capital of the World, Tyler still produces over ¼ of all the roses sold in the United States. The Tyler Municipal Rose Garden is the largest in the nation covering over 14 acres containing over 38,000 rose bushes.
Tyler has many other attractions including the Caldwell Zoo, Brookshire’s World of Wildlife, Tyler Museum of Art, Discovery Science Place and the Tyler Rose Museum just to name a few.
