The City of Cedar Hill sits on the beautiful 7,200 acre Joe Pool Lake and encompasses 2,000 acre Cedar Hill State Park, the most visited state park in Texas. Cedar Hill’s newest retail development, Uptown Village at Cedar Hill, is an upscale lifestyle center featuring name brand stores and restaurants, as well as unique boutique shopping and dining opportunities. Now open, Cedar Hill’s Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center is located on a 270-acre site offering a unique juxtaposition of east and west Texas flora and fauna. It was named for the extraordinary occurrence of flowering dogwood trees on the chalky limestone slopes. The Center offers multiple hiking trails and educational opportunities.
