Families can spend quality time together at Kidsville, the largest volunteer built playground in the world or visit The Dallas Nature Center where they can explore more than 600 acres of native trees, flowers and wildlife.
Water-dwellers can simply jump in their car for a five minute ride to Joe Pool Lake, where they will find 7,490 acres of boating and fishing paradise. Joe Pool Lake is surrounded by four parks that cover more than 3,400 acres of land and include nearly 8 miles of hiking trails as well as more than 10 miles of mountain bike trails.
