With such a diverse and large region, our “DFW Sampler” Attractions Pass is a great way to sample some of the area’s attractions. The pass is purposely diverse and includes attractions that are a mixture of culture, western heritage, and family fun. Perfect to visitors unfamiliar with the area, or looking for experiences in their own “backyard” this pass provides a sampling of what there is to see, do and experience throughout the entire region.

With the DFW Sampler Attractions Pass, you’ll be ready to begin your North Texas adventure. We hope it will be the first of many in the area and this just whets your appetite to discover more!

How it Works

A single Dallas, Fort Worth & Beyond “Sampler” Attractions Pass gives you admission to seven different area attractions listed below and other valuable traveler discounts in the region.

Available in an easy to use 180-day (six-month) Pass format, your Dallas/Fort Worth & Beyond Sampler Attractions Pass is activated the first time you use it and will remain active for the 180 days. The pass is good for one (1) visitation at each participating attraction per pass.

Some attractions are closed on Mondays and major holidays. Please check hours of operation at participating venues. The Dallas/Fort Worth Area Tourism Council is not responsible for unauthorized duplication or lost or stolen vouchers. The pass expires one year from date of purchase if not activated.

Stockyards

The Fort Worth Historic Stockyards Experience

The Fort Worth Stockyards’ National Historic District covers 125 acres — 15 square blocks of tradition, family fun and nightlife. See the worlds’ only daily Longhorn cattle drive at 11:30 am and 4:00 pm. Your experience starts off at the Stockyards Visitor Center and includes a GPS Video Tour of the area (available in English, Spanish, French, German and Japanese), the “Spirit of the West” movie, admission to the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame & Sterquell Wagon Collection, day admission to Billy Bob’s Texas and a souvenir Fort Worth pin.

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza

Grapevine Vintage Railroad in Grapevine
The Grapevine Vintage Railroad travels along the historic Cotton Belt Route between Grapevine and the Fort Worth Stockyards. The Railroad is serviced by two vintage locomotives – “Puffy” the 1896 steam locomotive, which is the oldest continuously operating steam engine in the South, and a 1953 GP-7 diesel locomotive. Passengers enjoy riding in authentic 1920s and 1930s Victorian-style coaches as they take a step back in time and experience train travel as it was in the glory days of the expanding west.
